Our Story: We absolutely, positively fell in love with Jackson Hole many years ago, for me it was 1966 when my family stayed in a cabin and ate trout with our eggs.
Fast forward to 2007 we got a job to sell 2 new homes over the hill in Teton Springs and decided to host our Auction event in Jackson.
As Art lovers we seized the opportunity to become River Birch sponsors of the Jackson Hole Annual Fall Arts Festival. We personally support the Arts, meet great people and are able to tastefully promote our Auction on the Town Square as Official Corporate Sponsors.
Behind every great man there is a very surprised woman, my wife Stephanie quickly realized that there was no professional organized Real Estate Auction company servicing the Jackson Hole Market. Nationwide auction companies that charge sellers of million dollar plus "trophy homes" advance fees of $80,000 to $250,000 come into the area to do single events, yet not one calls Jackson home. Jackson feels like home in our hearts and will be home when we retire. It took about 2 minutes to determine that the market is a perfect fit for our "flat rate" auction entry fee program to participate in a multiple seller auction event.
The Jackson Hole Auction Company was born and our 2nd Auction featured 28 properties! There were over 64 bidders and the Auction delivered 100% of the present cash market value for the properties offered on the Auction Block.
